Yes he has been in the NFL for some time and the Chiefs were the only ones that gave him special permission to miss training camps and other meetings and all the other stuff so he could finish his medical doctor degree in Canada. He would have been picked earlier if it wasn't for thing about life after football because a lot of teams passed on him several times. Also after getting his degree last year the NFL would not let him put the Dr. on his jersey in front of his name which would have been pretty cool.

And here is a pic of the new truck we are getting

That`s interesting background on him. Nice looking truck, I like white trucks.

I think that the power petal adjustment on mine is pretty useless and I really don`t like the tailgate step.

Adjustable pedals are awesome if you have a shorter driver in your house. I had that on my 2000 Expedition, because it was the fancy eddie bauer edition, and that was really great for my wife. Have never had as fancy of a vehicle since, so have never had it again.

I`m the only driver in mine most of the time so it pointless for me. Even my short wife doesn`t need to adjust the petals but I move them once in a while just to keep them working.

Evenin' guys, hope everybody's doin well. I was just cruising through, and since we're on the subject of power pedals, I'll share my first power pedal encounter.

My older brother bought a used 06 F150 FX4 with power pedals and everything else. As usual we all got read the riot act if we got within a few feet of his truck. When I was old enough to get my license, he let me take it to my friends party just down the gravel and across the highway. I wasn't as tall as him at the time, and the one thing he couldn't seem to stress enough was that I bring the pedals up instead of sliding the seat forward, (which is what I was used to being the shortest/youngest in the family); and that was the only adjustment I was to make. I was forbidden to adjust mirrors, change CD's, and especially not to move the seat. It was a good deal to me, so I agreed. We did this a couple times, I took the truck and only adjusted the pedals and the volume on the radio, and all was fine.

I would wash his truck when it was dirty, and keep the box clean of miscellaneous "soda" cans, and as an extra kind gesture I figured I would vacuum out the cab for him, as I was genuinely appreciative of him letting me use his truck while I worked on mine to make it roadworthy again. So I got the doors open, radio on, and I'm vacuuming away. What do I go and do? I move the seat. Not thinking much of it, I moved it back to where I thought it was. After I finish cleaning brother jumps in it to go somewhere, and finds out I moved the seat. Regardless of the hour and a half of vacuuming I did, I get thoroughly chewed on and lose my privilege of driving it; essentially all because of the power pedals. If the pedals weren't power, I would have been free and clear to move the seat; at least a little bit forward.

I'm still on the fence about whether or not I like power pedals to this day

That`s a pretty interesting story. It reminds me of my early driving days with my brother`s car he left at home while he was away.

I seem to have missed posting in here for a while. I move the seat before I move the pedals, don't like that then don't ask me to drive yer truck, lol. I've noticed with my 04 Mustang that Ford still hasn't fixed the ignition jamming in their tilt, telescoping steering columns, lots of fun trying to turn a key and the ignition doesn't want to turn.

Would a thinner and lower seat help John?
