You took the Mustang to a show..? I would have taken the 53 Mercury ..

 

It was a two drive one way with the Stang....a three hr drive each way with the stock 53 then returning in the dark thru moose country. Which would you take?

 

The 53 Mercury..

 

Cooled leather reclining seats air, tilt cruise, Blue Tooth, modern 5.0/435 hp, massive brakes, 6 speed and a suspension that hugs the road are way too tempting for me.

 

Doesn't do as much for me as the 53 would..

 

I can relate, I used to feel that way.

 

New vehicles do nothing for me, but you need one for the crappy days to save the old ones..

 

Unfortunately with our Canadian winters the Mustang is parked for 4 months.

 

Likely useless in the snow anyway...I used to have a Firebird and it was too light in the rear end and too much power and weight up front..

 

I suspect so but I`ll never know.

only way my year will be better is if the Bronco is revealed and it’s awesome! If not, will just be another regular year although I am done my apprenticeship now so no more going to school for 2 months. Will be nice.
