Good evening woodchucks. Another busy day getting projects off the honey do list. Got all the leaves raked up in the pistol range and the new hitch on the front of the truck. Parts arrived today from Fedex after sitting in the warehouse in Williston for 3 days
Turns out they were probably trying to undo the damage they did to the package. They lost some of the nuts and bolts for the install - the shipping box was all but destroyed. They tried to put it back together with lots of tape. After a call to Curt I discovered the nuts and bolts were all parts I could get from Fastenal. Very unhappy with Fedex; very happy with Curt and Fastenal.
I like the Curt hitch because it has two mounting locations, one below the air dam, one that requires a cut out because it is about 5" higher. I'm going to try the lower position for now. There are other parts of the truck lower so I'm not losing ground clearance. And the low mount will have the bikes lower in my field of view.
Have a good evening guys. Waxing TC tomorrow if weather permits. Then Fluid Film the truck. No end of getting ready to go.

Way to go John, you really got with the day's theme.
Jim, a bit stressful since I had tracked the hitch to Williston and then they jerked me around by saying it was out for delivery, then reporting an exception - TWICE. Otherwise it is just busy stuff.
