Funny how certain memories stick with you. I can never see a Dairy Queen without thinking back to Junior High in the early '60s. When two guys were gonna fight after School, it was "Behind the Dairy Queen". Franchise Owner was a bit conflicted. He obviously didn't want fisticuffs going on behind his establishment, but when it was going to be a good one, half the damned School showed up. He'd sell a boatload of Ice Cream Cones.

I'm kind of glad cooler heads prevailed and Ford toned it down just a bit, even if it was cancelled a few months into production for 1960.

 

i was thinking of something even more vulgar. . . . . but a chrome one. but it's Christmas. not the time to think of. . . . .ahh. . . . .chrome things. . . . there. i think i was able to smooth over that pretty well.
