Watching a Skyliner work is a marvel, even today 60+ years later. It must have been totally 'space aged' when they were new.

White Star Line was a British company that operated the Titanic. They had offices in New York and Boston.

The other building, Saks Fur Company, Gowns, Dresses and Waists, presumably a forerunner or relation to Saks Fifth Avenue department store, I'd guess New York.
