I can't figure out what such a large number of similar vehicles that don't have much military purpose or coloring would be all together like that. Are they truant officers? Fuller Brush salemen?
Anyone have some better suggestions?
Look at the one to the left of the dance floor - it has writing on the spare tire. Can't read what it says.

^ Located at the NW corner of Olympic Blvd. and Bundy Drive in West Los Angeles. The last rendition showed a guy and gal on surfboards...riding a wave.
Drive-In was demolished in the 1970's, replaced by Martin Motors Cadillac. In the 1990's, FOX erected buildings on Bundy, north of Martin Motors.
Coupla weeks ago, I drove by, Martin Motors has closed, no idea what will replace it. FOX is still there, may be taking over the rest of the land.
1981-1993: I lived 5 blocks east of Martin Motors.
btw: Preston Tucker was not convicted of fraud, 51 Tuckers were assembled, most of them are extant.
Tucker signed up 100's of dealers. Ralph Hamlin, the Los Angeles Tucker dealer originally sold Stanley Steamers, then Franklin's. Hamlin was also involved in auto racing.
Tucker was the former Indiana Packard Distributor, located in Indianapolis.
