WHERE FOUR WERE INJURED: Photographer Maiteland LaMotte of The Ann Arbor News climbed half-way up a utility pole with his camera Saturday to catch this all-inclusive shot of the scene of a car-milk truck accident on US-12 four miles west of Ann Arbor. Four persons were injured in the mishap. Sheriff's deputies said the accident occurred when the milk truck on the right was hit in the rear by the car at the left which is partially obscured by curious spectators.
President Harry Truman being gifted a new 1946 Ford from FoMoCo prexy "The Deuce" (Henry Ford II) at the Dearborn Inn which was erected by Henry next to his Ford airport.
The inn is there today. The airport is gone and in its place is The Henry Ford, formerly called the Henry Ford Museum and Greenfield Village.
