New. member eh.

Joined this forum last week to find out more about what I had bought. Should have looked here first but it kind of fell into my lap. Needs lots of work but it does run ok even idles decent. 1 brake line working but I drove it on and off the trailer. Thanks to all for the info so far.

Nice, did you get the headache rack that was probably bolted to the front of those bed rails? And do not just torch off and scrap that snow plow mount stuff some folks need that stuff.

Thanks ownership says it's a 75 but it has a 73 360 in it that looks like it's original to the truck. I'm thinking it's had a cab replacement at some point because the cab mounts are way to nice for being in the rust belt for 40 plus years. It's a bit of a cobbled up mess and the pictures make it look better than it is. Was a yard truck for year's I believe.

No that's the way I got it with no headache rack. It looks like it had a tool box mounted on the bed rails to at one time also.

No unfortunately I didn't. I'm thinking it had a rack and a bed rail tool box behind it. No chance I'd scap front harness.

Welcome to the forum. Nice truck, looks cool with the old school Mudders. What part of Ontario are you from? You should join the Ontario FTE chapter.

Thanks. Good old Gumbo monster m udders. Haven't seen them in years these are quite weather cracked . I'm in Innisfil at the east end of 89. I'm planning on going to the Ford truck show in Arthur this year for the first time. How do I join the Ontario FTE?

I'm just east of the Orangeville area. My sister and brother-in law live in Innisfil and my nephew has a house over there also. We'll be over there on Sunday for Easter dinner.

The Arthur show is a good one to attend, you'll enjoy it. What size are the Mudders? My first 78 F150 had 15/38.5/15 Mudders on it when I was 16. Bought em brand new. This truck only has 35's BFG's on it. Go to the regional chapters, Ontario is the bottom of the page.

Let me clarify. Go out of the 73-79 forum to the main forum page where all of the different forums are. Scroll all the way to the bottom past the engine forums and at the bottom of the page you'll see regional forums. The very last one at the bottom is the Ontario group. Not much goes on there but it's good to be a part of. Some of us actually meet up at the Arthur show for a gab fest.
Would like to see your truck sometime. Mines in the process of reassembly after just being painted.

These are 35's but not sure which direction I want to go with tires and wheels yet was thinking more of a little beefier than stock look like I did with my 70 c10. Maybe 16x7 steelies with 285's or something. If you find yourself time on Sunday feel free to have a look

That kinda looks like a truck that would come blasting out of the woods on a dark, rainy scary night, and chase you down a gravel road into the wilderness as you scream and no one can hear you......
