I got my rear brakes apart but there is some weirdness with the parking brake lever assembly. It had a stack of fender washers on it which I'm pretty sure isn't correct.

I was hoping someone had a diagram so I could make sure I'm getting it correct. All I've been able to find with Google was this thread 1972 F250 12"x2.5" Bendix rear drum brake rebuild: advice? - Page 7 - The FORDification.com Forums.

His parts are similar but it's a much older truck.

Don't get upset if you never get the automatic adjusters to work on these brakes. Most of them don't.

 

They call this the "HD" version of the 250/350 brakes.

 

Thank you so much. That's exactly what I was looking for. I think the stack of washers was to take up the slack left by the missing spring (2A601).

Edit: I somehow demolished this post last night.

I went to the salvage yard a took a look at some of the assemblies. They all looked like this:



I think this is right but I haven't seen a diagram that looks anything like it.

 

If there is anyone, anyone at all looking for part 2A142 on the parking brake assembly. It is called a parking brake strut. Ive been looking all over for this part and finally found it.
