It has been almost a month since the last post in this thread, time for a bump.

This was our home at the lake for a week. We were fortunate to get a spot with 120° view of the lake and shoreline.

@kshoop1958 I love the auto leveling on my Rockwood. Makes setup a breeze. Do you turn the kingpin sideways while parked? Interesting idea - I've never unlocked the turning point since I don't need that feature.

I do turn it sideways for better clearance while parked. On the other hand, I might have hit my head on it once or twice while getting something out of the front storage bay.

My Rockwood didn't have an Auto Leveling option when I bought it, so I added a LevelMate Pro+ instead. It's not automatic but it only cost $180, installation was easy peasy, and it's just about as handy as a front pocket to me.

I also put a tripod under the kingpin for extra stability.

This was taken at a Harvest Host farm in Ontario, Canada on our way to visit friends in Michigan. We did 3,500 miles in 22 days, the only thing that hurt was diesel prices. We highly recommend Sandbanks Provincial Park on Lake Ontario- amazing beaches and sunsets.

@AlZipp , no sir. That is Twin Lakes CoE on lake Hartwell near Clemson SC. We live about 1 mile from lake Hartwell as the crow flies and there are several CoE parks on the lake. It has nearly 1,000 miles of shoreline and about 80% of it is not private property. Well, technically the entire shoreline is public land, but people generally do not stop at places where there is a dock or a home.

We stay at one of the 5 CoE campgrounds (used to be 6) a couple of times a year since they are so close to our home and the prices are great. The spots are great for the most part, but we have many we saved as "3 star" spots that we like to stay at.

If you need any advice or are thinking of traveling to lake Hartwell, I would be glad to help you find a nice spot.

I will look up Bolding Mills CoE Campground and save it to My Google Maps for future reference when we are out traveling the country and or just out and about.

EDIT: I see Bolding Mills is on lake Lanier. We generally stay away from the ATL area unless we are traveling through. We have become accustomed to our country living lifestyle.

We will definitely have to check out Twin Lakes next time we are in the area; we love COE’s! We were just recently in Cleveland SC, staying at Palmetto Cove RV Park.

We are familiar with that spot and I thank you for posting the picture.

We really like this area of the country after experiencing everywhere else from AK to AZ and FL to WA. In addition to Twin Lakes, look at Coneross, Springfield, Oconee Point and Watsadler. All of them are CoE and quite nice.

Safe travels and enjoy it sir!
