94 B4000 Wiring Mystery

94 Mazda B4000
4.0 Liter V6
Manual 5 Speed
4x4 w/ RABS only

Hey Team,

I was checking under the hood and noticed a body grounding terminal on the inner fender well that had no wires attached. Looked around and found two broken pieces of wire, one is red and the other is black w/ green stripe, taped together. This was also on the driver's side front fender well, near the main wiring harness. I looked down at the wiring harness and finally saw the two broken ends sticking out, so I spliced in a temporary connection from the broken ends to the grounding terminal. After starting & running the truck I checked everything, but didn't notice any changes.

So--what do these wires go to? I checked the wiring diagram in the Haynes Manual looking for a 2 wires together, one red and one black w/green stripe wire but called no joy. I have photos, but can't post them here. Thanks in advance!

are they not for fog lights? there are some wires on the b series trucks that are there and not used, as i found out when i bypassed c309 connector under drivers seat. 2 wires more in cab plug, than the one under the floor. if everything is working and running good, then i would not stress.
