We're selling out Darren. Sold the trailer last spring and my sled a month ago. The only thing left is the wife's Apex that I'm hoping will sell soon.
Why is two fold. First, we've been doing it for almost 10 years straight and the thrill is gone. It's a lot of work and money to trailer 5-10 hours north and hope for good conditions or that it snows at all. Then, even when it's great it's the same thing as last time... and the time before that... and...
The second is our daughter turns 4 next week. It will be a long time before she could come with us and we are too attached to the little bugger to leave her for a week at a time with her grandmother anymore. Funny how the little ankle biters can sink their claws into you....

OK Rodney, I totally understand all of that. Makes sense, thanks for the info
When she is ready to ride I will have an Indy Starlite 250 or Indy Lite 340 for her
Different situation for us .. no travel, no real "expense" (LOL). We can get to some decent trails right from our cabin. Or ride on the lake (good for young kids) or pretty much anywhere, we are there (at the cabin) anyway. When the kids were young the wife and I would just throw them on the front with us, one each. Or I could take off for a bit with friends while the wife and kids did whatever.
Last year was the first year both kids had sleds. It was pretty fun. I hope my daughter gets a bit more into it this year. The boy loves it and can't wait to get out. He was sitting on his sled last weekend for an hour. Kids are 7 and 9 this year.
We never (and still don't) stray very far from our kids. Most we have left them for is 5 days and only a couple of times. They are coming to Vegas with us in November
Enjoy your little girl.
Are you young ..... or did you just have kids OLD like I did?

I'm 42 Dar. She was invited since my early thirties but took a while to show up... She's still stubborn now that she's here too...
As to riding, our intention is to move to Maine someday. Then the ATV and sled trails can start in our back yard and connect to over 10k miles of groomed mapped trails. That may very well suck me back into riding if the body holds up...
