1976 Ranger XLT 4x4
Picked this truck up in Sept for a steal. Had been parked in a building for around 12 years. Bought from the son of the original owner. Manifolds are leaking have them slowed a lot but still irritating has leaking valve cover gaskets but easy fix if the weather warms up a bit. Engine runs great trans shifts nice and firm 4x4 works and climbs like a goat.

She has a lil rust in the normal places. over both back wheels tailgate but other that pretty solid factory air still works but needs charged. it had intermediate wipers power brakes and somewhat power steering think the pump is weak. Tomorrow ive got to find a small but still real gas leak coming around the fuel regulator could smell it on the way home tonight but I made it home without it combusting.

Yes I'm sure you'll find plenty of fix-its if its been sitting up that long. Belts, hoses... etc.
I might suggest pulling a valve cover to inspect the rubber valve seals. If the engine sits up for a long time they can dry out and then begin to fall apart after you get it running. Its so easy and simple and cheap to fix em before that happens and the rubber particles get into your oiling system.
One of my first accessory items was a fire extinguisher, highly recommend all vehicles have one - especially old ones.
You've got a great starting point, so good luck with your new classic!

GULP! Those are some real sexy look'n door panels you got there! Those won't go well with your black truck. How about I trade you my black panels for your brown ones? :-)
I was actually thinking about repainting mine.. cause other than the black floor mat I got nothing else that matches. ( I'm going to replace the floor mat with with some brown carpet).
PM me if you could be persuaded.

Updated power steering issue
I got really lucky and was cleaning out my storage building last week and found a remand power steering pump I had gotten no telling how long ago lol so this morning keep in mind its in the upper 30s for highs here in northern Tennessee this time of year, I decided to slap her on along with new lines and hoses I also had in storage and low and behold I don't have to muscle the truck to turn now Ive been fighting this thing to steer for months and been told aww that's just how the earlier 4x4s where So now she has power steering brakes and is actually becoming a fun truck to drive instead of a workout.
