So, we did it today. Sally traded in her 2014 Edge on a 2020 Explorer ST. She explained to me that, now that she is a brand new grandma, she really needed 400 horse power and 415 pound feet of torque in order to get to those baby sitting tasks in a timely fashion.
It is one very sweet ride! It goes and stops really fast and has every known electronic gadget and safety system known to man on it. Unfortunately, I have not had yet had an opportunity to drive it.

Grandma cars have certainly changed. That's one sweet looking Ford. Very nice.

One thing this car is not is gutless. Twin turbo and a legitimate 400 HP. MotorTrend's review said 0 to 60 in 5.3 seconds and 0 to 140 in 35 seconds. It also has a class 3 hitch rated for 5,600 pounds towing.
I just can't get over the technology in this rig. My F450 is a 2017 and I thought it had a bunch of cool stuff, but here we are three years later and this car is like the space shuttle in comparison.
