hmm , yes I can move it manually. It starts at full throttle until the governor takes over.
Injection company said the pump was flowing at spec.
new lift pump, flow and pressure above spec.
bypassed the filter to rule out air intrusion.
Maybe the governor is a democrat and is shutting down the fuel flow. Hummmm.........
I had a Torin Big Red jack stand fail on me. The roll pin that holds the pawl to the handle came out. It's not the same problem as the HF failure, but I stopped using them. I notified Torin and they essentially said, "Too bad, you're out of warranty."
Jim, they don't make tools to last anymore. It's a shame
Agreed. I do have a few brands of tools that are top notch. Most of my Craftsman tools from 30 years ago are doing well. I won't buy any new Craftsman tools now, except to replace lost tools. Even then, I may switch brands.

While I know many don't like Snap On because of the cost...I still buy a lot because of their quality and warranty. Having the truck pull up to the shop every 2 weeks, and no hassle exchanges on anything broken, makes my shop guys and I love them.

My brother became a Snap-On dealer this year. So the brand I'm switching to will probably be Snap-On or their associated brands. I was expecting to buy some tools from him to keep him afloat with the economy tanking. But he's been doing remarkably well.
I have a bunch of Snap-on tools and tool boxes. The only complaint was that the paint didn't hold up on a Golden Anniversary bottom box I bought. Sadly, in our area in NY the S-O dealer retired and nobody has taken his place yet. Any repair/ replacement of tools was
Box store Lowes has been handling Craftsman tools for a while now. I asked an associate about the guarantee. She said "only if you buy them here" WTH???

The local snap on lady here does really well.
She owns it, and drives it Thursdays and Fridays, has an employee who drives it Mondays, Tuesdays, and Wednesdays. She comes to the shop every second Thursday, and we buy a LOT from her. Really nice person, and I actually ride motorcycles with her and her husband as well. I broke a socket last month with a 4 foot long cheater bar on a flex bar. When she showed up the next time I handed it to her, and she handed me back a new one. After it was in my hands, she said to me "cheater bar, or hammer"? I replied 4 foot cheater bar. She smiled at me and asked if the flex bar was still okay. When i said yes, she responded with well it might break next after that, so go grab it and give it to me. When I returned 2 minutes later, she looked at which one it was, tossed it in a box, and handed me a brand new one. Really hard to beat that sort of service. She recently recalibrated my 9 torque wrenches for me, and refused to charge me anything.
