Jolly Green Giant...2015 F-350 KR DRW
Why is it that the skinny guys always say that? Thanks Roy, it seems like this project has now taken on a life of its own, but it's really only been about a month since demolition of the old deck began. Besides, what else am I going to do? Hopefully, will get most decking on this week, although we're supposed to get a couple of rainy days towards the end of the week, so who knows. Really, I just want to go camping and fishing, but now must get this done first.

The exercise is good for us no matter weight......
Have fun my friend........
Roy, Have a Great Day at the orange store and we'll connect later!
I'm using concealed ipe clips so that no screws will be showing. That means I have to mark each board against the adjoining board's clips, groove each board with the biscuit joiner, install ipe clips, predrill each clip for its screw, screw down each clip and then groove the opposite side with the biscuit joiner before starting over. Once all the deck boards are installed I have to trim the ends and then install the perimeter trim boards. I figure it is about 20-25 minutes per board.
This deck better last a long time!
I know it doesn't look like a ton of progress, but with all the steps it takes for hidden screw installation, I'm averaging about 25 minutes per board. Hope to finish the west half tomorrow. Jeeze, it got hot today. Probably a two gallon water day.
Oh, thanks for the reminder. Tomorrow I have to take a deck building break to till the garden. Her royal exalted gardnerness is getting impatient with me.
Trying to keep up with Roy on rv repair,
for about 3 years my furnace would intermittently turn on and stay on until I pulled the fuse. The it would be fine for several trips, then it got worse, after the last trip it stayed on, pulled the fuse, put it back and it still run. Changed the thermostat this morning and it still run continuously.
decided to remove the furnace to test it, removed 1 wall and saw a screwed in panel above the furnace, removed it and found that 1 screw had gone through the control wire. It didn't cut any wires just some insulation. Repaired the installation and all is good.
