Howdy Doug..Jim and Tim

Just finished up with getting our annual termite inspection done. You need to keep up with the contract terms in order to show proof to the mortgage holder along with proof of insurance...almost a racket!!

Still getting the crazy winds down here but nothing like California got the other day with 200+ gusts. Even in England they are getting up to 90 mph winds and to top it off I saw that a 747 from NY to London hit around 850 mph with a strong tailwind. He made the flight under 5 hrs, Crazy things going on since Pelosi got embarrassed last week...maybe she really is a witch!!

Howdy Swamp Don. We have crap for weather today, and expected for most of the week. No outdoor projects for me today, so I did our taxes earlier, and then figured I would spend some time trying to catch up on the forum. Hope the inspection went well.

Termites? What's that? Not much of those little buggers up here thankfully. I do remember them down in Houston.

Sounds like the "cost $$" engineers struck again on those wheels.
Everything on the Montana's are stressed to max designed load...... The new rims will give me a 10% safety margin.

I am happy the auto center at WalMart found the crack in the rim.......

I wanted to do this in September....... Now it is a must do.

Howdy Guys.....
Received pictures from DFW RV Roof, who is doing the roof repair for me......
They found that the roofing Montana uses is OSB..... some of it got wet too many times..... Has to be replaced.
They will put a sealer on the wood then a primer for the Flex Armor material.

It looks like their doing a nice thorough job on the roof Roy. I suspect that should I peel back the EPDM on my roof I'll find the same issue. I KNOW for a fact that there was water damage on two corners. But I sealed it up and called it a day. To really fix it I would have to pull back a good 10 square feet (or more) of the EPDM.

Yes Jim....... I have confidence that they will do a correct job on this. I am glad we decided to make an insurance claim. Get water under the membrane and then seal it..... There is still water under there....Not good.

I left the membrane open for a couple days to dry it out as much as possible. Water is the death of many trailers.

Roy,

Will the final roof color(s) match the underside frame colors of the trailer?

That's funny right there. The inside joke material is almost endless.

Looks really good Roy. I'm sure they know what they are doing. If your keeping the trailer it is well worth it!
