Hey guys im looking to swap out my 1978 F250 RWD rear axle if possible with out modifications. or if it would be easier and cheaper to just buy what ever parts to do the swap to convert it to disc brakes. either way i go i would like to have disc brakes.. truck is a strret and strip truck but these over sized drums are weighing me down in my already heavy truck.

1976 to Feb. 1977 F250 4x4 front axle came with dual piston front disc brakes all this disc brake stuff will transfer to a Dana 60 rear axle .. you will need additionally a adjustable proportioning valve and some sort of e-brake or lever lock
