Yep, installed a Dorman last spring when I had all the big ticket 6.0 items done. That gasket lasted ~2 months when it disintegrated and puked oil all over everything including my driveway. Had to replace one injector very shortly thereafter. Related? Replaced oil cooler and gasket with another dorman because we didn't know they were faulty at that point. Thought it might have been a one-off. So I've been Dorman'ed TWICE!
Anyone care to list what downstream components could be affected by two disintegrated gaskets buggering my engine. Injectors,HPOP, oil cooler?. please give me everything. Likely seeking recourse on this. Anyone else been down that road?

My worst fears confirmed.....

A few on here have before they saw the warnings on FTE....

You'll definitely need to replace the oil cooler, drain all the oil out, pull the HPOP, replace the screen below the pump (pray it's not broken and caught everything), and of course use ALL OEM parts doing so.

But that doesn't really answer my question, are they going to make good on any repairs or damages or is it up to the buyer?

Don't let that scare you tho , it was the nail that pushed the customer to do all the stuff he has been reading about. We did everything but studs. It did take his IPR tho. A couple injectors,, and it also mysteriously took his egr cooler?!?!?! Lol

Ok so HPOP & screen, oil cooler, injectors, obviously IPR. Anything else? Any other screens anywhere? Why doesn't all the material get caught in the oil filter?

The gasket that is doing it is after the oil filter.
You may also want to do some HPOP flushing after
you get the Dorman gasket out of there.

The only screens that I am aware of are the one under the oil cooler which is the HPOP suction screen and the one on the IPR valve, I would at a bare minimum remove the oil cooler and the HPOP and clean the reservoir really good and shoot break clean through the suction port under the HPOP back to the HPO reservoir, then blow compressed air through that same port back to the HPO reservoir, make sure you use only lint free rags when you are doing your clean-up. Then I would change the oil. You will need the orings for the suction and discharge side of the HPOP. And I would also say a new OEM oil cooler kit.
