IMO, I would immediately have air ride system fixed. One of the struts/air bags is probably leaking, causing the compressor to work overtime. This will result in not only having to replace the leaking strut, but also having to replace a much more expensive air compressor.
Try to find the leak using soapy water, looking for air bubbles. Also, turn off the the air ride system for a couple of day and see whether the suspension drops. Sure sign of leaking air.
