all heat functions except floor

I searched but could not find a specific answer to this. On my wifes Excursion we do not have heat out of the floor vent. All the other functions work correct as in it swithes from defost to vent etc. Is this probably a vacuum leak behind the dash or actuater etc. Becouse if I am not mistaken if it was a vacuum leak out under the hood such as in the ESOF I would not beable to switch to vent or anything. Correct? thanks for the help.

IMO this may be a problem with the blend door or the blend door actuator. The blend door is located in the HVAC plenum behind& under the dash. To find it unfortunately you'll have to do a bit of contorting while laying uncomfortably under the dash. Don't know on the EX but you can generally see the actuator attached to the blend door, while watching the actuator or the actuator arm, switch functions on the HVAC control to see if you're getting the full range of travel of the arm & door.
While the possibility is there, I wouldn't suspect a vacuum leak as the first culprit.

This is kinda what I am thinking to. If it were vacuum I would not beable to switch off of defrost at all, correct?

You are correct on the vacuum leak and not being able to switch it at all.
