Why Super Duty?

I bought my 99 super cab short bed , v10 manual transmission because I liked the size and simplicity of a leaf spring suspension.
Other than the ranger I had for 10 years , I have always had an f 250.
Secondly the truck just looks bad azz and people get out of your way.
I do wish the turning radius was a little better, but this is not a deal breaker.

Aside from always wanting my truck when my dad owned it. Being 6'5" driving an 01 Buick LeSabre in high school where the seat was all the way back and with my knees still against the dash board and the seat reclined so i looked out the rear door window (hah no blind spot!) so that i wouldn't hit my head on bumps. I was more scared of hitting something and breaking both knee caps than anything else especially with all the M*******s around here lol. A truck was just logical for me since it has plenty of space, it's safe in accidents for me since I'm a big boy and trucks are just friggen awesome aside form that.

Safety first; looks second
My MDX was what I considered a big car. Now it feels like driving a sports car. I wanted to get a 5th wheel and the pin weight would have required a HD F150 and they are impossible to find used. My wife is a teacher and will be travelling all summer long in safety with the F250.
And when I started looking at F250s instead of F150s... they started to look much better. Go big or go home

Growing up on a farm, we had mostly Fords a few chevys and a dodge. Fords were tougher, didn't rust out, or have starting issues. So I grew to love Fords and have had many trucks. I bought my Super Duty because I wanted a REAL truck, meaning a solid front axle, large motor that is reliable and has plenty of room. Now, I do not drive my truck much as it mostly sits in the drive way collecting bird poo! But when I have to use it, it gives me no problems whatsoever!! I will NEVER go back to a 1/2 ton truck EVER again. I don't care what other people think about my Big A$$ Truck. Funny how those people want to borrow the truck when they need to use one though!
