The problem is I think that person thought that was the thing to do to solve the problem.
I have seen bad steering stabilizers from the factory. I would make sure the air pressure is the same on both sides and the correct pressure. If you are not loaded you could drop the pressure down 5lbs and see if that helps. I would also get a new steering stabilizer from Bilstein.
