Door hinges. They are way beefier on a bump and the doors shut easier.
Tailgate handle/mechanism. Dent handles bend and then slip off the pivots.
Plastic door panels with finger cups/arms rests the break apart. Inside door handle snaps off with regularity. (yes, early dents have metal finger cups.)
Plastic instrument cluster/heater control/radio bezel. Metal on bumps. (yes, some bumps had plastic instrument cluster bezels..)
Things I like better about dents:
The extra thick seat foam.
The little bit of extra leg room.
Better visibility with the larger rear window.
More parts are available for them.
They're great parts donors for bumps.

I haven't seen a mangled hood latch handle on a '67 - '72 Ford or Chevy.
'67 -'72 GM Truck's have better:
door hinges
motor swap-ability
heaters (bigger core and fan)
glove box (bigger = better)
grille swap-ability
The GMC's have better headlights.
I have always liked GM's cab lights.
I prefer GM's radio location.
GM's key is harder to get at.
You can't lock your key's in GM trucks.
Did Ford offer a speed warning buzzer? How about in dash tach?
I don't like the GM gas gauge. It's too big.
There are 2 reasons I drive a Ford. The FE engine and superior frame.
I still have a '72 K20 I use for work only.
I would take a '67 -'72 GM over a dent and a bump over a GM and a slick over a bump.
