Best prices on arps?

I will be doing arp studs, upgrade dummy plugs and standpipes, upgrade stc fitting. Where can I find the best bang for the buck?

Also, does anyone know where do get a good price on replacement head as well?

Yup, got a cracked head. Figure now is the time to do any upgrades while the head's off.
Kinda figured I'd be doing this eventually, but thought it would be for something like a blown head gasket. Had visions of the future with my "bullet proofed" 6.0, when the time finally came to do the head gaskets.

Geeze, now I have to wonder just how bullet proof my engine will be, since I have come to learn that heads can CRACK with no provocation!!! I'm a little dismayed by this as I have been very vigilant about maintenance and never knew about apparently notorious week spot in the heads.

Oh well... I have found arps on line for $469. Does this sound like a pretty normal price. I suppose the dealership is probably the best place for a head. Is this correct?

Is the head cracked bad like its letting fuel into the coolant?

I just found out recently (too late though ) that some of the smaller cracks found by a magnaflux test can be within spec and be acceptible for reinstallation.

... from about post 41 on.

I can get them for $411 shipped at Autoplicity.com. Use blackfriday2012 as a discount code, it's like 2% I think.

Yes, it is leaking a very small amount of fuel into the coolant. I know a guy who works at Ford as a diesel mechanic (does side work on weekends) who was doing a VC9 flush for me. He said he thought he smelled diesel fuel in the degas bottle. He said to keep an eye on it and check after a couple of hundred miles for smell of diesel and oily film on surface of coolant... I did as he suggested and well, YUP, there it was. Diesel smell in degas and oily substance on the surface. Yeehaaaa!
