Blue Spring Kit Causes Pressure Drop !!?

Just installed blue spring kit. Looked pretty straightforward, but apparently I have done something wrong. My fuel pressure was 45 without the kit and is now 25-30. Started and ran vehicle for only about 5 minutes. Seems to run OK....at least at fast idle.

Any ideas on what's going on?
Thanks

Did you pinch or bend the spring on install?

Not that I know of, but I am thinking I am going to have to take it apart again to check for something like that.

It can be very easy to do if you don't put even forward pressure going back together with the cover. I actually goofed one up and had 90psi worth of fuel pressure.

I know this sounds crazy, but I noticed whenever I drove that the pressure was increasing slightly. After 3 days and about 30 miles the pressure is holding at 58 !!!

Perhaps you just had some air in the connection to your gauge.
