A shocking change!!!

Well, I am taking a lot of people's advice from this forum. Just ordered the Rancho RS9000XL for my 2011 F-250 FX4 Lariat Diesel and I don't think the price was all that bad. I originally went to the Ford Dealership in town here and gave them the order and part # and they both looked dumbfounded. They were looking in their book and then said they can't get it cause it is not in their book?
They suggested I try an aftermarket place?? So I left them disappointed and thought where can I find out prices about these shocks? Tried looking on the web for Ontario, Canada and not much luck. E-mail Rancho themselves and no response after 24 hours. Anyway, I phoned a Ford Dealership out of town that does the FX6 upgrades on the Ford trucks and sure enough, no problem. Got them ordered and will get them on later next week, after our long weekend up here. Yahoo! Looking forward to the change in the ride and will see how they do.

Thanks Guys.

Yeah I ended up getting mine through amazon.com for $89 a piece with $3.99 overnight shipping.

About $10 better than the dealer could do.

good price

Things are a bit more expensive up here in Canada. Shocks were $168 and I got them for $122 each.

I think I am going to try them on the #4 setting but if anyone has any other ideas let me know. Shouldn't be difficult to adjust them anyway. I haven't really towed and am usually empty. Odd time but not ofter the big ATV is in the back.

Looking forward to getting them and seeing if there is a difference. I would expect there will be.

Those shocks are much better than stock!!

I have an F-350......6/4 empty works good for mr too.
towing with 2800+ lbs in the bed.....6/7 or 6/8 works great.

Oh....Front/Rear

Q

So when you guys say the Rancho 9000XL shocks work great on your truck and you say you have them "6/4" I am assuming that means a setting of 6 on the front and a setting of 4 on the rear??
