1989 Ranger No Power

I have been thru everything i can think of except the main ecu on the ranger.
ive replaced the starter as well as the starter solenoid also the ignition switch.

What is happening is there is no power after the main wire to the solinoid from the battery. it doesnt power up anything. ive checked the fusable link and it appears intact. with a test light i can see that i have no power from the ignition itself i guess to tell the solinoid to work. i have noticed that the ignition cylinder is a little loose but what can cause there to be no power at all?
Could it be a bad solenoid?

Check the ground cable where it connects to the engine, also check the battery cable ends at the battery.

Yes!!! That is very important. Check the grounds! It happened to my friend at work.

Also, dose the motor turn over or is there no power what so ever?

I know I had same issue and I'm in pulled all t by e main fuses by the solinoid and put them back in with a new 60 amp fuses being the first one in fuse box coming from the battery this fuse must be a 60 amp fuses or larger . When I did this I heard my fan kick on so I knew I had solved my issue
