Oh yeah, that does look suspicious! Good job finding that! At least you didn't yet replace the key cylinder switch and ignition switch.

no worries thanks for your help. I dunno how I didn’t see that broken wire the first time I went under there. Hopefully this fixes everything and I can be on my way home 😭

starter changed now it sounds like it wants to start but also sounds like a dead battery. Terminals are tight as can be. Possible need shims to make is more tight.

battery is good.
