I'm with everyone that says keep the D60.... 35s/D60 and maybe a 4-6" lift....

I'm running 37s with 4"/5" so i'd probably not want to go more than that with 35s...

Oh. I wouldn't know because I've got stock springs and lift blocks in the rear with bags. I actually have very little axle wrap with 5" of block and the bags. It doesn't hardly squat at all with about a cord of wet hemlock in the back, but it's sketchy going down the freeway with that load sways a lot.

I don't think his truck would look good with 8" of lift and smaller tires.

Tires are fine, they aren't bias and they arent very bouncy. Only thing that sucks getting rid of lift is I'll probably miss all of the people that do the break neck double take stares lol

Truck just got here...the one I'm using frame for my drag project. It has some lift springs it looks like...how would these sit under a diesel? It's 351 now. Would diesel weight arch these to much?

I would think an inch or so over time maybe, but I can tell you that somebody put that shackle in backwards...

Heres a nice example... K2500 with 2900# in the bed... no other extra weight.

You dont think a Ford would squat with that much weight?

It's amazing what tires can do lol feels like a different truck with smaller tires and the right gears. Deffinatly has more "go" in the skinny pedal

What gears do you have dirty? As far as gas vs. diesel on springs, as far as i know there isnt a difference between them until 99. All D60 front springs should be the same, TTB springs will be alot stiffer, and ride horrible on a solid axle.
