C6 to T18 swap compatibility question

C6 to T18 swap compatibility question
Im planning on swapping out my C6 for a T18 in my 75 one of these days and Im looking for a parts truck to serve as a donor.
I know I can get a T18 out of many years of fords (65-91?) but my question is all the pedal and linkage parts... oh and the drive shaft. I want to make sure I get everything i need to do the swap. Am I restricted to 73-77 or 73-79? Or will a bump or 80s ford work too?
Oh, and were there years to avoid for this transmission? i know they made a few different "generations" over the years.
