One of my buddies was talking about a truck they had in the early 70's i think. He said it was a full time 4x4 f250. I was wondering how common are these today and does anyone have any pictures?
The full time 4x4 uses a completly different transfer case. Ford uses the np203 case and the hubs are always locked, all you will see is a blank plate where a manual hub would go..Many convert them to improve milage some replace them with the bullet proof np205 and others like myself use the gear box from the 203, mate it up to a 205 and double the gear reduction for a really cost effective rock crawler t-case. I kept it short, just search if you want more.
