Ok guys, sounds like this is going to be a smart decision on my end. It's good to know that a lot of people like this product which makes me feel better about buying it. I will get in touch with Dp and will get more info from them. Hopefully I will be grinning more than I do now . Appreciate everyone's help and keeping adding more info or anything great that I would like to hear!

You will love your DP great in 80E and pulls like a train in 60 and 40 tow! But Stinson is correct obout the harsh downshift out of OD in 80E . When I get home she going in for some massaging! The OD is in @ 47 and out @ 40 mph ! very hard driving around in that range The wife is complaining her neck hurts!! But I have faith that Jody will iron this bug out for me.

I'm happy with my 80T, 80E, and 120 settings. I don't get the harsh downshift from OD in 80E though. I agree with forget about the 100 and go 80 and 120. I use the 80 daily and have the 120 to play. If you can swing it, wait, just swing it and get the drive thru tune. I use it way more than I thought, especially when someone is talking to me from outside my door. No need to shut it off just to have a conversation.

Yea I was thinking about going with the drive tru tune, but now I think you talked me into getting it. It sounds like a useful tune and I could maybe swing the extra $45. One question, is it bad to use it for a long period of time and what is the top speed you can use it in?

I use my drive thru tune a bit too, its not quiet enough for most drive threws though so I stil have to shut shut it off, no big deal though. It is nice when Im trying to have a conversation with someone out side of the truck, the only down fall is sometimes it pours whit smoke outta the exhaust. Its raw unburnt fuel that will burn your eyes and throat if you get a good wiff of it. Dont forget the "no start" tune, its free and you cant go wrong with that.

You don't want to drive in that setting, it's for idle only. John's right, it will spew smoke that can gas people out under a cover. I usually only see that when I leave it on for a longer duration, 30-40 seconds. It cuts the nice about in half, so even with the James Bond poison gas smoke screen, I think it's totally worth it. And you might not always see or smell the smoke, I don't get a hit every time I use it.

The way Jody sets it up, it won't let you drive with it. Well you can idle but that's it. He makes it to where the throttle is non responsive. At least that's how he did mine. And yes it does smell a lil funky at times but really quitens my truck up! Heck occasionally when I switch to it the rpms drop and it can't quiet catck itself and dies.

As for the No Start, how do you exactly use this. Are you supposed to put it in park, shut the truck off, then switch it to position 0? I totally forgot about no start AND ITS FREE!! I love me some free stuff lol

Since FTE is the largest...when someone searches for DP "No Start" they will likely find the answer. I think it is better reserved to be kept amongst those who have the tune as you will get instructions, just my opinion though.

Basically just trying to keep less threads out there that have the information on how to use the "No Start" feature.

Sorry, if you could send me the link to the thread, I would like to see it. The search function never works for me and finds things that don't come anywhere close to what I'm looking for, but I still do try it. I even tried every possible way of trying to find the DP No Start thread and still have nothing.

Basically it's a tune that you place it in, with a certain buttons being depressed, that when you try t start even with the key it will not start...there are more buttons pressed in order to get it out of that tune, and allow it to start.

Ohh. So it's kinda like a code you put in using the + and - buttons to basically unlock the truck. Gotcha. I hear most people set it to position 0 so that's what I'll go with.
