6.2L mpg update?

275/65 is the base option, the 70 series with the taller sidewall was an option. I actually think the 70 series helps fuel economy by effectively making the axle ratio taller. However, the added height hurts fuel economy.
Running the M/T tires will absolutely reduce your fuel economy, especially on the highway - I'd expect at least 2mpg less than with regular all season or even an all-terrain tire.

I've had 3 rangers and an F-150 in the past. Never ran anything other than all season tires. This truck came with the M/Ts. I like the look of them and I've done a fair bit of off-roading in the desert. They've worked out really well in the sand and dirt, so I'll probably keep them.

My buddy has a 2014 GMC Sierra 1500 with the 5.3L and factory 20" tires. He went from a normal Cooper highway all-season to Falken Wildpeak AT's...and was surprised to lose 3 miles to the gallon. My dad has a 2018 F-150 5.0L also with factory 20" rims...he went from the standard Goodyear tires to General Grabber ATX tires...and lost 2mpg.
I have to agree though, the aggressive tires give the truck a whole new look which I also really like, and its worth the tradeoff in fuel to me.
