Enginetech pistons?

just wondering if anyone has heard anything good or bad about them. found a set of them for a 351m that were a flat top. My friend pointed them to me after he talked to the shop about boring his 351m. no one i know has used that brand before so just wanted some input before i went n tried them or not to.

Probably as good as any other aftermarket piston. Thats the first I've ever heard for a replacement flat top for a 351M. I would ask them what kind of deck clearance you could expect with them. You certainly wouldn't want them way down in the hole like the stock pistons.

probably 351c flat top. Done a ton of research for 351m piston and realize to go with 400 zero deck piston and 400 crank with aussie heads.

Thats an old thread! If you want to do anything about a 351m Its to switch with a 400 crank at least. Use Tim Meyer piston with stock head 9:1 or the 9.5 piston with the aussie head. You can also go with the stroker kit to make a 434. Visit TMeyers.

Hi. It is the 351 M engine of a pick up that has an automatic transmission box (C6), so I do not know if it would be advisable to put something "hotter". In principle, I seek to maintain factory originality.
Thank you.

Those pistons look like stock pistons to me. The comp height looks to be about .050" short of deck.

TMeyer pistons are great for the 400, but they are still hyperutectic. Nothing wrong with that either, as there are people running small shots of nitrous or mild boost on hyperutectic pistons.

Oops..... Sorry guys, I know nothing about Enginetech pistons. I was thinking of AutoTec and RaceTec pistons - which are known to be good pistons.
