Heated seat change over

New to the site. I've been researching here on a project for some time and am about to get underway. I'll be changing an '03 F250 2wd into a 4wd and upgrading from the old heated power seats that cut off all the time to the continuous heated seats from the '06 F250 4wd donor truck. In regard to the seats, any advice appreciated. Is there a way to just use the current conectors? Do I need a different wiring harness? Will they work if I just run power directly to them and skip running through the regular connectors? I have no idea about any of the above. In regard to the 4wd conversion, I am already aware that I am an idiot, so no need to tell me. Thanks for the help in advance.

Do a search on the site , there was somebody not to long ago that did the same exact thing and gave the info on how to wire them up. Good luck on the project and if you can take lots of pics and do a write up on the 4wd conversion that would be great because that question come's up on here quite often..

Thanks for the info. Not having much luck with the search, however. Do you recall anything else that might help with this quest? We have a pretty simple plan so far for the 4 wd conversion, but I still expect curveballs yet. Nothing that a Visa card can't fix, I bet!

Yes, thanks! That helps a ton, if only to prove it can be done. It appears that all of the wires are going to be there, we just need to figure how to hook them up. I'll update in a few weeks when I get my donor truck in town and can start the demolition process. Thanks again.
