I found this on Wyoming craigslist. Must be an old custom job or an uber rare factory model we didn't know about. Nice project. '76 F250 4x4 crew long bed.

I'm experiencing the same thing. I took a short bed off a 76 f100 to put on my 76 crew 4x4 and realized the frames are different widths. An earlier post says the holes closest to the cab will still line up, but mine does not.

Great pics and info. I just put a short bed on my 76 crew 4x4 from a 76 f100, but the front holes had to be redrilled as well. And as far as the rear braces, I just had to scoot them in to match the frame width, and didn't have to add the blocks on the very back because it sat flush on the frame.

Hey this truck did it spend some time in oregon? I'm looking for my grandfathers old truck he traded it along with his trailer for a car because the truck broke down during a cross country move. He passed away last year and I've been looking for his truck now for months if there's any chance you can check the owner history for a Leroy bruesch or a Lola bruesch? Maybe I can clear this off my list or maybe I've found blue.

I have a 1979 F-350 Ranger XLT Crew Cab and I have the entire history as it is a local truck. It has 77,000 miles, 2 wheel drive, 33 1/2" frame rails, 460 automatic with tilt. I talked with the last person who drove it and it was parked 20 years ago. It has no shock mounts, Dana 70, 410, Limited slip. No rust anywhere. The truck was complete when I bought it except it was missing the hub caps. I am doing a frame off as I want it to be my daily driver.

1973/79 F100, 1975/79 F150, 1973/79 F250 2WD, 1977 F250 4WD from serial number Y20.001 (not High Boys), 1978/79 F250 4WD's have 37 1/2" rear frame rails.

1973/79 F350's on the 140" wheelbase have 33 1/2" frame rails, other 1973/79 F350 wheelbases have 37 1/2" frame rails.

1973/76 Styleside Pickups have exposed fuel caps. The fuel caps are behind doors on 1977/79 Stylesides.

The filler necks used with fuel doors are not the same as used with exposed fuel caps.
Do you know if they made F250 standard cab, short bed, 4x2?
