Christmas for my truck

Very excited for my truck.. after today it should run like new!! While it only has around 54,000 miles, im the second owner so i figured i was going to start changing some fluid and begin to do some maintenance so i can keep it running as long as possible.

-Ill be changing spark plugs with motorcraft plugs today and also replacing the PCV valve while im in there
-Changing the rear differential fluid with Mobil 1 synthetic 75-140 and replacing the cover with an 08+ SD aluminum cover+fastenal SS allen key bolts
-Changing the transfer case fluid with mobil 1 synthetic ATF

It should be like a brand new truck! Oh, and my favorite part... in the next couple days my SCT will arrive with 3 custom tunes from Mike @ 5 Star, and i will be adding my 2" front leveling kit to match the 4" rear blocks i put in. Been expensive lately.. but i guess thats the cost of owning a Super duty

Have a great holiday everyone!!

Should be nice when done.

right now there is a present under my Christmas tree. Don't know eactly what it is but it took both boys to bring it in.

Seems to be the width of the truck bed and about as wide as the rear window.

Hoping it is a headache rack.

SuperDuties are always a work in progress.

got 2/3 of the stuff done! my rear differential cover never showed up today so i couldnt change that
but the new spark plugs took me about 3-4 hours with a parts run and some b/s'ing involved. even with 54k on them, truck now runs GREAT!
also changed my transfer case oil which was fun, thanks to the FX4 skid plate it couldnt just drain down, it had to get all over the skid plate and drip everywhere. but anyways, my truck runs like new!

and the best part is i got my shipping confirmation for my SCT this morning

some pictures..
whats required for this job..

what a spark plug with 54k looked like

pumping in the new fluid
