I haven't taken the window out, so I can't say. If you have all the seats out, you could try just dropping it away to the other side to do half the roof at a time. Ou, try rotating it slightly and out the passenger side front door.

After spending a weekend doing this, I honestly did not notice much (if any) difference. Later I did the door panels, and that made a significant difference.

I would save your time and money and do just the door panels first, I'm sure you'll be happy with the improvement and it will save all the work of gutting the entire cab.

Here are some pics of my project. Worst part, last year I laid the truck over and am currently rebuilding it with a different cab... Needless to say, the new cab won't be getting this much sound deadening.
WOW! I was about ready to do the same job. Thanks for the input!!!! I will stick to the doors and the steering column fire-wall perforation / passthrough.

Was fitment of panels etc an issue for you AFTER you got the deadening in-place? Ive done a few cars with just Dynamat Extreme and even just that thin layer can obviously cause fitment issues if you place it where parts snap to the body.

Yeah, door panels were tight, but that was about it. Just be sure to cut larger areas around the clip areas and anyplace the panel has a stand-off.
