Finally getting close to having my ol 7.3 rebuilt and thinking about paint. So what color you think i should paint it gray like they typically have or IH red!!! I think it might look neat being an international engine plus i doubt no other pickup (ford) has a red motor. Btw, blue is out of question

 

gray is just plain whatever, red stands out proudly, or something random that suits your taste. the better the paint job, the more power it makes

Ok now that is impressive. If i go red mine will look like a pos compared to that one. Is it really nesecary for the high temp paint? I was just thinking about rustolium red.

 

High temp will last much longer

 

Red reminds me of Cummins, I would go with Cat yellow.

 

Clarke green.

 

Red is agricultural equipment. There's only one color, gray (and a little red for contrast).

well, heres my vote... its the 327 in my wifes 75 astre. hotpink is her favorite color-prefferebly with glitter in it. you gotta love those filipino girls!
