Bilstein 5100 Shock install with VIDEO!!!
#302
Big-Sarge,
Great video on your Bilstein 5100 installation - thanks!
I am ready to replace my original Ranchos, and tow a fifth wheel with a pin weight of about 3000 lbs. in the bed of the truck. Otherwise, I am pretty much running around with an empty bed.
Should I be looking for an adjustable shock, or will the 5100's work well under both conditions?
Thanks,

I'm going to do this in the very near future. Stupid question. Is the sway bar for the front, the rear or both? I'm sure its been asked in the thread but I don't know if Im ready to read through 21 pages. I will but don't have the time right now. Thanks

In the video...the addition of the sway bar is for the rear. Hope that helps...
