Hahaha. I know right. Those things are so quiet. I remember walking past one, and wondered if it was even running until I got closer and heard the the sound of a diesel but just really muffled down. It was almost quieter than my Mom's 2003 5.4l expedition. But they do sound pretty cool straight piped though.

Trav that sounds pretty good. I plan on putting a new radio in my truck, aftermarket top of the line speakers with an amp, and 1 or 2 10 inch subs behind the seat.

As soon as I get mine running I have 2 1200w 10in kicker sony sub speakers that I need to cut the box smaller/thinner to place behind my seat then I am build a custom box for 2 medium size speakers like my dad's 86 F150 has in a box behind the seat. Also I have 2 sony or sanyo can't rember which one speakers that will go in my door with the stock speakers those are like 100 or 110w speakers. Also I need to find an amp to boost the speakers. That's just the sound system. I also want to put 2 1000-1200W KC Hi Lites for driving (of course only on backroads) in my brush guard that I need to put on also want 2 lights probably close to 800-1000w in the rear for back up lites and 4-6 KC lights 1000-1200w lights on my headache rack when it is put on 2 of which facing in the bed so I can see at night better when working the ranch. I am hoping to custom make a valance under the bumper like a lightning with a couple small fog lights or make my current one work. Haha lets just say I will need dual batterys once I am done. If you want to know more Jon about my 88 and what I want to do just in case you need ideas for yours just PM me.

Ok, cool, Kicker, thats what I was planning on going with. I wanted a single 10 inch shallow mount sub with their 750w amp or two of the 10 inch shallow mount subs at least the 1000w amp with 500 going to each. These are their CVT subs. For the speakers I wanted Kicker QS components with about 100w going to each. I am not sure on the subs because I want it to be loud but not too loud. My friend has two 12 inch subs (can't remember which brand) in the trunk of his car with at least 1500w going to them if not more. I like it and it sounds cool, but is just a little much for me and not sure if I could deal with that everyday especially in a regular cab. Yeah that is going to be a lot of lights there. I want some lights on my truck. I know my Dad used to have a lot of lights on the truck when he used to actually drive it. I wanted to do some running lights in that small plastic piece under the bumper and maybe some fog or driving lights on the front. I will also eventually get a custom headache rack from Spyder Industries, painted red and gold to match the truck the truck with some lights on it too. Maybe some reverse lights under the rear bumber also.

I will definitely pm you if I have any questions.

My headache rack will completely custom made by me I want a Harley Davidson inlay in it I have a bunch more I want to do to my truck but didn't list it. Also if I got lights it would be in the bumper with protection on it because things break easily my truck ain't no pavement princess. I am about to as soon as she is running get some 31 10.50 R15 tires for $600-700 brand new threw my local tire shop also with warranty and they are offroad mud terrains. Just remember my truck is only a F150 not F250 or bigger.

Anyways Ryan, I know you already sort of answered this, but how do you like the 35% tint on your truck. Thats what I was thinking about someday getting on my truck, maybe even 20%. I was thinking the 35% or 20% on the front and back window(regular cab) and 50% on the windshield with maybe a small, like 5% brow on top.
I am really happy with it. I wouldn't want to go any darker.

Please don't tint the windshield. That's a bad idea. The side windows and back are OK, but you need to be able to see clearly in front of you at night. On dark roads I can't see anything except the headlights of the cars behind me. I can only see where my lights hit past the sides of the road. Beyond where my lights hit is nothing but pitch black if there's no moon light or street lights.

If you did the windshield it would decrease your view distance at night by quite a bit. It's also illegal in any state to have tint over the entire windshield. The 5% strip at the top would be fine though. Most places allow tint down to the AS-1 line on the windshield. That should be 5-6" from the top.

I would not go any darker than 30% if you drive a lot of dark roads. If you always stay in the city where there's street lights you could maybe get away with 20% because of all the extra lighting.

Go by a tint shop and ask them to show you samples. If they are a good place they should have something that shows all the different shades next to each other on a single piece.

I don't think you realize just how dark 20% is. I didn't. I was originally going to do 20% all around, meaning all but the windshield. Then they showed me their display and I decided that was just way too dark.

Well Gerry,
U can talk about the 500 now....Johnson Really

Trav,
Your store didnt get shut down for selling "Bad" Fuel, it got shut down for "Tax evasion" if it was selling Dyed (red) diesel under the radar.
The "red" is off-road use ONLY & there is no highway use tax included in the price which is why some people try & get away with it.
Dont ever try, its not worth the huge Fine just to save a few bucks

Posted a couple links below, MBRP's site doesn't state size but Summit say's it's all 4 inch.
I bought mine from XDP (like most of my products), then i bought the Cat Delete Pipe later on, sounds even better but its a little stinky now

MBRP Performance Exhaust

MBRP Installer Series Cool Duals Exhaust Systems S6210AL - SummitRacing.com

MBRP 4" Dual Installer Series Turbo-Back Exhaust System S6210AL
My MBRP is 3 1/2" Down Pipe, 4" the rest. A true 4" (like the Banks) requires firewall massaging, or it will rattle the cab. Especially in reverse.
MBRP advertises it as a 4" system, but the down pipe (on mine any ways) is 3.5".
