It's been slow progress lately. I was convinced by a buddy that a turbo isn't the way to go. I also moved 220 miles away. I had to recently do a lot of maintenance to the truck to make it halfway roadworthy. It did make it. Fully loaded pulling a 19' boat loaded with furniture as well.

However, I'm in desperate need to find a set of long arms for the truck so that I can change the pinion angle in the front and ditch those horrible drop brackets.

300's come stock with forged rods and most of them came stock with cast crankshafts, but the older heavy duty models that were seen up in the F600 series thereabouts could come with a forged crankshaft.

People over in the inline-6 forums and on FordSix performance rev high-mileage 300's up to 5000 with no problem while in gear. Past 5000 though, and you're pushing it.

Blue86, are you going to put in low-compression forged pistons when you do your turbo?

Those folks there would more than likely be able to do something about a set of long radius arms for your truck.

I think it's funny when people say you can't get articulation from the TTB. You can do it, but its got to be done right. Most people do Solid-Axle-Swaps because it's easier than messing with the TTB.
