I'm not even going to the swap meet today. I'm beat and most of my good stuff is gone anyway.

I have to get this boat out of my tent so I have a place to put my Chevelle when it gets here! Woo Hoo!

By the way, the Chevelle deal is official. I delivered the bike to the new owner and the Chevelle guy is dropping off my '64 this evening. I already have the title! Talk about a wonderful weekend! I even have enough to go get my Harley at some point.

RC, the bus is looking great. A coat of paint and that will REALLY stand out. I still vote for black with flames. But I'm an old school hotrodder, so take it with a grain of salt.

Bob, sorry about Ka'Bluey. My truck probably conspired with yours to ruin your day. We'll have to quarantine my truck from all other Ford trucks until I get the steering figured out.

good deal alan..glad to hear all went well for you...i like the black with flames ideas too..but that would be alot of black.. maybe just do the front end like that and leave the rest white with some graphics like i want...sorry to hear about the steering bob i hope it aint contagious ha ha ha ...i didnt win anything at the car show yesterday... they put me in the retro-rod class and i did'nt have enough billet to compete with those cars.... i dont think they should of allowed the car club members (who were the judges also) to compete..the judges never even looked at the bus just walked by, never looked inside or under it or asked any question's at all..but there was always a crowd around it so we had fun talking and answering question anyway.. i did take alot of kids around for a ride after the show, might go back today and look at the motorcycle show they are having today

 

Hurray for everyone, I am going to go see if my riding mower will start to do that thing.....

 

I intended to hit the swap meet yesterday, but the asthma gods had to send me a reminder that fall is coming and wouldn't let me breathe right for the first time in a few months. I decided that we would just get the errands we had to do and get home. Sorry I missed everyone.

 

Wow. Sounds like I missed a busy, but productive weekend.

Congrats on all of the progress at the swap meet...and that bus looks great!

We're still shuffling shtuff around here and trying to adjust to our new place.

 

The Chevelle is home now! I'm VERY excited. I got that boat I've been working on done today too. The entire electrical system was wrecked by someone who had NO business touching wires.

It should be ready for the water now. Everything works the way it's supposed to. I have to rebuild a carburetor tomorrow and go put it on and do some tuning on Tuesday. Should be a good week.

 

Ended cutting all the front, well house side and part all around the shop. This week is getting filled up already with plans. And this comming weekend is going to be grandson #1 time up here and his b-day party.

I'll work on what I own some day............

 

Do I still need to set aside a day or two this week, Rich? I'll be busy the first couple days, but I should be able to steal away later in the week if you need me.
