I hear ya Alan, I'd love to have some "Mad Money" just in my pockets. Hasn't happened since I lost my job, due to my back 20 months ago. Atleast it's there to get things cought up, but I do understand.
I've done too much this last week, and my right leg is on fire. So I've allready had me a pill this morning, and just kind of out of it, and plan on staying that way today.
Still thinking about taking a few things to the swap meet. I have a pair of good aftermarket fenders, a good hood (Blue), a right side front floor pan, a sun visor, grill shell with grill and lights. Need to get that grill I got from Rich installed after all the body and paint is finished. I'd really like to see that one on the truck.

I played with my truck last night. Fuel pump is in and left rear wheel is off. It felt so good to fire it up and let it chug around to the front of the shop. i also hammered on the frame and found no soft spots. I think the frame is good to go.

Absolutely...and we're all here and setting up...nothing broken...yet.

I've got seven pages of reading to do, and I will, but thought that I'd check in and tell you all that I'm back online (computer survived the journey...) and all is well.

 

Sounds like lots of body work got done. That 57 looks good to me, but I'll grant you that my eye is an untrained one.

We're in the new place...(and will staying in the state of Kansas for at least another six years...past lives/divorce/custody issues...)

Our new home is ...um... adequate, if not as nice as our last one was, but Mrs. is already starting to work her magic and it's beginning to look like we live here.

Alan - I know thee feeling of no pocket money. Everytime I think I'm getting ahead something breaks, gets sick, or needs to be fed. Hang in there man! I'll be heading to the swap meet on Saturday AM and I'll keep an eye out for you.

Busy day at work... My program coordinator came for a visit to inform me that my class will have to be overhauled and fit into a new time frame. I'd rather be putting toothpicks under my fingernails.

I got the Corvette cleaned up today. I also got a bunch of parts cleaned and some of them painted up nice and pretty. I should be able to make some money and a little extra space in the garage if I sell a good bit of it.

 

Any one going to the swap meet on Fri am? Penny and I are going, well I am dragging her down there and making her push the dolly with stuff on it, lol.

Unk Bob I can bring the filler neck and Ches's stuff??

 

Hey Rich, if you want to bring the stuff down, I'll keep it at my spot and make sure it gets to the right place.
