2" front blocks and 305/75/18 A/T's on a 2007 F-250 FX4?
Stock tires are LT275/70/18's. Id like to get as close to 35" / 12.5" as possible but still fit. I'd like to level the truck out and maintain as much the ride/milage as possible (but a small decrease is expected). I should also mention I'm on a pretty tight budget (~$1500 - $2K). 90% unloaded street use, 5% Towing a 32' 7700lb bumper pull camper, and 5% driving around on dirt/mud roads you could drive a 2 wd on most of the time without much problem. Looking for a more aggressive look more than anything and dont take this truck through anything more than some muddy dirt roads.
Right now I'm looking at using spring spacers in the front for the 2" lift to level the truck (cost a whopping $8 plus my time to install), replacing the front shocks with a set of rancho 5000's that are 2" longer (~$90), and purchasing some tires (thinking about nitto terragraplers or BFGoodrich A/T's but open to suggestions).
My questions are,
1.) Will the tires even fit? Any suggestions for other sizes?
2.) Should I look into a different type/style of lift? Taller/Shorter?
3.) Are the longer shocks needed? Suggestions on different brands?
4.) Any other Comments/Suggestions?

Your not using front "blocks" on your truck, you're going to use a coil spring spacer which is a much different animal. I have always seen it recommended to use a brand name sus*****on kit when raising/leveling a truck an I agree. With a leveling kit, your tire size would be okay with maybe a little rubbing at full turn and hitting a bump. You might just trim the plastic a little if it hits. I had great luck with the Nitto's that first came on my truck but now have Toyo MT's and absolutely LUV them. The BFG's are also good. You won't need to change shock's with just a leveling kit. Good luck with your mod's.

My little Brother works at O-riley's so I get parts at or near cost (Little punk lives with me and we're 10 years apart 20 and 30 yo. He's in college). He said they have the spacers for 7.88 a set or the kit with spacers and shock extensions for $190 (day star). For the price difference I would rather buy the spacers and the longer shocks, but dont want to end up cratering the front end. There may be more $$ in the budget, but that starts cutting into the vacation/hunting budget and the wife starts cringing (by the way, its about 50% her idea!!!)
Again, Im looking to level and give'er the aggressive look while I baby her all the way!! Plan to be driving this truck 5-10 years down the road, so I dont plan to be mudding the heck outta her. Just a little driving around the hunting lease (one guy uses a PT cruiser to run the club) and pulling the camper (maybe 1-2 times a year 7700 lbs) as well as the boat (3k lbs) and hauling a few things in the back (mainly a polaris Sportsman 800 1K lbs).

Check out this post. Its an Ex, but still give you an idea of tires and rims with a very moderate lift. I have a 2009 F250 4X4. My truck is stock and level from the factory and is just about the same height as this Ex after he did the swap out of his springs. Hope this helps with some Ideas.

Not for nuthin...but, if you're considering altering your front suspension with $8 worth of parts....you may want to get better insurance and a good lawyer. I wouldn't do that to my worst enemies rig. Really man, get a second job or something...your plan sounds like an accident waiting to happen

If they are the spaces that don't fit spacing the spring from the tower do use them. I know the auto parts store carry some questionable spaces as of the last time I was there. The ones you want look more like a donut. You would be well advised to get a adjustable tracbar as well. I know I has 315/70/16 bfg kms on my 04 with slight rubbing on the leaf springs. The 06 I bet would fit the same size as well. If it were me though I'd stick to a 33" tire as I noticed a larger decrease in mpg going from 265/75/16 to 315/70/16 vs a 33" tire. The 33" tire that is a little wider will fill the wheel wells better and be cheaper all around. I loved the 35"s on my old truck but when I get tires again I doubt ill go that big again. Also with 35" tires you will have to get a speedo correction and from exp ford cannot do it. They can get it within 5mph. (It was 7mph off before). You will need something like a tru speed or a auto engunity.
