Waste of money to buy a new diesel. Wait til the emissions are sorted out. They're junk just like the 2011's

No one did, Zedo is a very verbal unhappy ford customer who likes to take an opportunity to voice it every chance he gets. that is his choise and rite.

Thought I heard somewhere that the Tuxedo Black was late availability due to some component of the paint coming from Japan...

Well, **** in my cornflakes I can deal with, but a 70k truck that has consistently shows cel since first oil change and not one dealer in the great capital city of canada can fix it.
I almost killed myself and the guy I tried to pass earlier this summer because the 800ftlb 400hp monster I own couldn't get enough wind in it to pass one car with over 1000 feet clear in front of me. I took it for a supposed fix on friday last, and it lasted one day. Its back on again and its pissing me off. Ford has to fix it or they will be fixing a whole lot more than an oxygen sensor.

Over all the 450 is a great truck - depending to what you plan on using it for. I get around 11.7 mpg in town and 15-16 (if I'm really gentle) on the highway. Both are running empty. Tons of power, which I'm told the 4.30 will be a litter quicker then the 3.73's in the 350, but probably unnoticeable.

The turning diamater is amazing in the 450. 6' narrower then the 350. This is what I will prob. miss most. Downside is I'm not a fan of the bulgy front flare they use to cover the wide track axle, and seems like it is easier to scrape curbs when your trying to park as close as possible.

Biggest thing is I'd check with your insurance company. Many will force you into commercial insurance or deny you coverage all together since its they consider it a commercial vehicle. It took 4 or 5 tries before I finally got insured personally at a good price. Of course I still could get a cancellation letter any day like Unigard did!

All in all I really won't be able to compare the 2 until I've had the 350 for 6 months or so. Then I'll be able to give some real "hands on" input.

Interesting... (could I have missed something which is why this is surprise to me?)

Right now the Build & Price for the 2012's is showing DRW as an option for the 250's. No 4.30 axle ratio on the 250 with DRW, only 3.73 non-electronic locking.

I thought it was a glitch at first but it might be for real, since that the gearing options on the DRW are different between the 250 and 350.

I have seen a few things that are on the build sheet that do not show up on the build site, not sure why.

Just noticed today that Ford has priced the 6.7L diesel upgrade at $1,500 less for the XLT models.

It's a glitch. There will be no F-250 DRW's...

Actually this is just a variation of the XLT Value Discount offered on the 2011's. For 2011 it was $1,000 on either the 6.7L or the 6.2L. For 2012 the XLT Value Discount was increased to $1,500, but now requires the 6.7L. No discount for the 6.2L...
