Good evening Curtis,Chad, Del and Sean..

 

Morning John and all-- Its city wide garage sale day here in newton-- I'm the walking wallet for the day. hope there is at least something interesting.

 

Good Saturday afternoon. We were in Omaha and Lincoln the last couple of days visiting family and friends. We spent some time in our friends basement in Lincoln yesterday as the tornadoes moved through the area. No damage in their area. We had visited my sister the day before in northwest Omaha area on Thursday. Unfortunately the living room where we had visited no longer has a roof. They got hit by the tornado that went through Elkhorn and Gretna. The house will have to be rebuilt. Fortunately they were not hurt.

 

Good afternoon Del,Chad and Curtis..that's down right scary Del. Sorry to hear of what occurred for your sister but glad no one was hurt..

 

Me too on the no one hurt. She was meeting with an adjuster this morning for a first review of what to do. Scary stuff. Chad probably understands better and than many.

 

I don't know how I'd feel living in an area that has so many of them tearing through..we are very fortunate here, biggest threat if forest fires..

 

Normally when a Nado rolls through we hope on the porch to take pics-- at least thats how I used to feel about it-- My boyhood farm was destroyed 15 years ago.

We had Nados to the north and Nados to the south over the weekend. Nothing exciting here though. Went to my Parents Church's 150 anniversary yesterday-- even saw a pic of Curtis, I sent it to him :-)

I think I need to mow today. It was too wet yesterday.

 

Good morning Del, Chad, Curtis and Sean...grass hasn't even started to turn green here yet Del, weeds will be up long before the grass wakes up...lol

 

Maybe we should give up on grass and nurture weeds. Then maybe the grass would take over.

 

If you see my lawn once it turns green one would think I've been trying that....lol

We had a tornado just north of us about 5 miles, and one south East of us, but I don't think it completely touched down. It was a crazy day.

 

I don't ever want to be that close to one Curtis..

 

Well good morning all! I think I am going to plan a test run for the exploder--- Maybe a quick drive to rigs and coffee sat? its about 25 miles or so... any one else in?
