Ecoboost delivered yet?

Has anyone received their 2011 Eco-boost F150 yet? I ordered mine on December 10th and this week got the VIN number but no definite delivery date yet. When I ordered it they said '6-8 weeks' and tomorrow is the 6 week mark. Just wondering how it's going for the rest of you who took the plunge early. Have to admit I'm a little nervous as I've never driven or even seen an F150 Eco-boost in person. Hope it doesn't suck!

I'm like you...second guessing my decision, however I chose the 6.2...never having test driven one yet. I am counting down the days till delivery...they said the same to me, 6 to 8 weeks. Hey, you never know, if you don't like your ecoboost and I don't like my 6.2, maybe we end up trading some time down the road.

We put in our order for and EB equipped F150 last week. My Wife works at our local Ford dealership... so I am able to get a little more "inside info" that many.
We were told that our truck would be here in early April. From what the sales folks at the dealership explained to me....Ford is giving incremental allocations of the EB to their dealerships....for example, our local dealership received 3 allocations for F150s with the EB engine, and would not be authorized any more until Ford "gives" them more allocations. I didn't specifically ask, but got the impression that as production gets into full swing for the EB equipped trucks, more and more allocations will be coming.
From all the information I've gleaned from the folks at the dealership, I'm anticipating waiting the full 12 weeks.

Allocations for orders and customer orders are handled differently. If a customer orders it, it goes right on the production list and gets delivered ASAP, dealer stock orders are based on allocations and sales figures from the previous years.
