Looks pretty good Barry. Wonder how they'll hold up to rock chips and what not.

Of course the shiny paint on the wheels kind of clashes with the dirt on the rest of the truck, but with more rain coming tonight and tomorrow, I suppose you'll have that corrected soon.

Looks good Barry. I hope it stays on a while for you, what kind of paint did you use?

Snazzy looking. The wheels really blend in now with the two tone and bumpers.

A little OT....what brand are your bumpers and headache rack? Was the install on them easy?

Thanks Chris...I figurred there was no use in washing the truck.Like you said, more rain and my driveway is a mess anyway.

I used High heat BBQ paint and then the top coat is the black semi-gloss.

Did you scuff the wheels up first? I'll have to watch and see how the BBQ paint does on your wheels compared to the high heat engine paint I used on my headache rack.

The front is a TC(Built in South Texas),I built the headache rack and back bumper.I should have kept the front bumper off my 97PSD that I built but let it go w/the truck
They are not hard to install with the right jacks and friends

Yes.I used some 100 grit sand paper.I painted them inside and out.It may not stay on but I figurred it was alot cheaper than a set of wheels. They have been removed so many times for tires/rotations that they had lost their shine really.Mike brought it up in a thread and I decided to try it.I am happy with them.

Thanks Pete...I know many like chrome/alum and that is great.Mine needed a change and I think it goes with all the black stuff I have.Should have done it sooner now that I see it.

I was just talking about that very thing tonight with a friend. Some truck colors/schemes look better with chrome, some look better without it, and others look good either way. Your truck already has the black accents and looks really good with the black wheels.
